REAPING reveals God's desire to reward us for our close, personal relationship with Him. This relationship is nurtured, in part, by our response to his desire for our own fulfillment. God reveals the richness of sowing and the great rewards associated with reaping within His perfect will.
It's not just about money. There are many harvests noted in the Bible, that are not associated with money at all. God wants you to exercise the gifts he gave you that are associated with ministering to His people.
For example, read (in your favorite version of the Bible) John 15:1-17, and you'll find that if you exercise love toward the people around you, you'll reap a harvest of spiritual knowledge, lots of spiritual fruit, and joy!
In Romans 2:6-11, the text is much more straightforward. It begins: "God will give to each person according to what he has done."
This is not about salvation. It cannot be earned. But the harvests that you receive while on Earth, in the service of God and to His people, are a direct result of your behavior.
It's easy to see how you reap forgiveness if you sow forgiveness, i.e. Luke 6:37. Some forms of sowing don't have a harvest that's so easy to discern.
But know this: if you sow any good at all, you will receive a harvest of God's choosing. Ephesians 6:8.

I am a church girl. I grew up in the Midwest. I attended law school, and, having practiced law for more than 30 years, I recently stopped taking cases. I now write books. My first book is a study of the Bible's principles of sowing and reaping: Reaping – Recession Proof Approach to Gathering Bountiful Harvests. It was published in print in 2010. I had already written the outline of my first novel, Suddenly Free. I thought it would be about 200 pages. Suddenly Free is a vision of the End of Times, the end of the existence of planet Earth as we know it. But the characters became very important to me. So I keep writing about them. Suddenly Free became a chronicle of future Earth. Volume 1 is entitled Rise of Evil. We meet an antichrist, and we meet his master, the Evil One, Lucifer, the Enemy of men. Volume 2, Purpose of Joy, was released in June of 2015. The third volume of the chronicle will be in print very soon. I am the mother of three adult children. I like them, and believe they are very talented people. They have provided me with a blended and pleasing assortment of grandchildren. I like them, too.
